Step 1: Creating Resentment

Q: Do I say "yes" when I want to say "no"?  What happens to my ability to manage my life when I do this?

A: I say "yes" when I want to say "no" and that often takes away from the time or energy that I need in order to make sure I'm okay.  This creates resentment which hurts me the most.  I often feel guilty saying "no".  I'm afraid they'll not like me anymore and instead, I end up not liking them.  It makes my life unmanageable because I'm doing for others and choosing their problems over my own.  I'm choosing others over myself, over and over again.
